I became a certified fitness instructor in group classes and Spin classes over 10 years ago, and then I became a certified personal trainer. I am also a certified VIP lifestyle fitness coach for Bombshell Fitness. I hold many nationally recognized fitness licenses and certifications including (ISSA, AFAA, SPIN). My love for fitness started later in life. Earlier in life, I was focused on my professional career and having a family. In 2005, when my child was about 5 years old, I desired to focus on becoming a better version of myself. I wanted to set an example for my daughter and show her that she could accomplish anything she disciplined herself to do. I am a United States Air Force Veteran, and my military background has served me well in setting goals and in developing the discipline necessary for personal growth. The goal setting approach had previously proved true for me in other areas of my life, both academically and professionally, so I decided to focus on getting healthy and understanding what it meant to be healthy. I started with baby steps, taking group fitness classes at a local gym. Then I progressed to meeting with a nutritionist to understand why nutrition was essential to healthy living and overall wellbeing. After I started to see results and began to feel stronger and more courageous, I began to venture into the weight room. My husband, who is a life long gym goer, supported me and helped me get acclimated to the weight room. The rest was history...or her-story! I began to expand my knowledge and obtain certifications and take training courses to acquire more information on how to build and grow my body. The road has not been easy, and I am my worst critic and my biggest obstacle at times, but I continue to focus on staying discipled when motivation is lacking. I work to help others find the reason why they want change, and then set goals to begin to see those changes manifest. I am an amateur competitor in the NPC (National Physique Committee) and I am a member of the Bombshell Fitness Competitive Team. I opened all Eyes On Me Boutique Fitness Studio in 2023 because I wanted to offer small classes in an inviting atmosphere with knowledgeable instructors who care about you!
I believe and promote the motto: Be yourself because you bring something wonderful and necessary to the world.
In my early 20s, during my college years while pursuing a degree in Food and Nutrition, I discovered my passion for health, nutrition, and fitness. The inspiring environment of like-minded individuals fueled my curiosity about what I could achieve with my own fitness, marking the beginning of my love for staying active. In addition to the standard education received during the certification process for becoming a personal trainer, I owe much of my knowledge about designing workouts and nutrition plans to the amazing trainers I've had the privilege to work with over the years. Even as a trainer myself, I acknowledge the importance of having a mentor. My background in nutrition prompted me to delve deeper, leading me to become certified in holistic nutrition. This certification empowered me to understand how real food can nourish and heal the body. While I trained clients for an extended period, life's priorities shifted my focus towards my family and another career. Recently, I was able to dust off my CPT certification and step back into the fitness world when Tanisha, owner of All Eyes On Me Fitness, allowed me the opportunity to sub in for another trainer. During this experience, my love for teaching others was rekindled, serving as a powerful reminder of my passion for helping individuals on their fitness journeys. I truly believe as we age, the decision is in our hands-to age like everyone else or to do it differently. I hope you choose to join our amazing team of trainers and do it differently!
I have been a certified and licensed athletic trainer for 15 years. I am a certified personal trainer and have a bachelor's in physical education. I believe when it comes to fitness that you need to start low and go slow. Rome was not built in a day, and neither will your body. Make small goals that you will work on daily to accomplish your large goal of fitness. Be positive and productive towards health every day and you will start to see improvements physically and mentally.
I have been involved in group fitness since 2015, when I first discovered Jazzercise and realized that working out can actually be fun! I participated in lots of different types of group fitness, but my favorites were always the cardio/ HITT based classes. I really enjoy spinning, Pound, Zumba, Jazzercise, and even group sports. After participating for a few years, I finally got the courage to get my first group fitness certification in 2020 when I became Pound certified. What I love about Pound is that it doesn’t have traditional “dancey” type movements, is super modifiable, and I get to hit sticks together! The one and only thing that I hope all students walk out of my Pound classes with is FUN. Whether it was a good workout or not, I hope all students have fun, and want to come back for the community. I am also Pound Unplugged certified and am really excited to lead some Unplugged classes soon—to address the importance of mental health, meditation, and breath work.
As a former employee in the health field, I understand the importance of taking care of yourself so you can live life to the fullest. I have participated in fitness classes throughout my life, I especially love any type of dance class. When I had children, my focus shifted to raising my family. I put my fitness goals on the shelf. I became active in fitness classes again about 7 years ago, and I have not looked back. I made a commitment to myself to become a healthier version of me and I began working with the team of instructors at All Eyes On Me Fitness to help me make progress...and I have made significant progress! In 2024, I stepped out of my comfort zone and became a certified Zumba instructor. I am continuing to work on a healthier, happier me and I am bringing joy through dance to others who want to start their fitness journey.
